What is the age limit for eligibility to follow the Diploma in Dental Nursing course?
18 to 25 years
I would like to apply for the Diploma Course in Dental Nursing. What are the entry requirements?
Training: Training Dental Nurses
Scheme Code: 3314
Gender: Female only
Training Period: 3 years
Scholarship During Training: RM 621.21 per month
Training Venue: Children's Dental Center and Malaysian Dental Training College, Penang
Training Requirements:
i) SPM or equivalent qualification recognized by the Government; AND
ii) passed B.M. (including passing the Oral Test) at the SPM level or a qualification recognized as equivalent by the Government.
Conditions for Promotion by Appointment:
Officers currently serving in the service of Dental Surgical Assistant are eligible to be considered by KPSL to follow the Dental Nurse Training, when they have been confirmed in service and:
a) have the qualifications in para (i) above; and
b) less than 15 years old from the date of application.
CAUTION:
Trainees who have completed the training will be recommended by the Ministry of Health Malaysia to be appointed to the position of Dental Nurse, Grade U29. Can continue to apply through http://www.spa.gov.my
