2.1) Implement dental health education activities through tooth brushing training, talks, health campaign exhibitions.

What are the admission requirements as a Dental Surgery Assistant trainee ?
Training: Trainee Dental Surgery Assistant Scheme
Code: 3325 Gender: Male and Female
Training Period: 2 years
Scholarship During Training: RM 517.15 per month Eligibility
Lower Secondary Assessment (PMR) as well as passing Bahasa Malaysia/Bahasa Melayu including Oral Test at PMR level (priority for candidates who get credit in Bahasa Malaysia and Science).
CAUTION:
Trainees who have completed the training will be recommended by the Ministry of Health Malaysia to be appointed to the position of Dental Surgical Assistant, Grade U17.

Training: Trainee Dental Technologist Scheme
Code: 3306 Gender: Male and Female
Training Period: 3 years
Current Scholarship: RM 621.21 per month
Training Training Venue: Children's Dental Center and Malaysian Dental College, Penang.
A. Training Requirements
i) SPM or equivalent qualification recognized by the Government; and
ii) passed B.M. (including passing the Oral Test) at the SPM level or a qualification recognized as equivalent by the Government.
B. Conditions for Promotion by Appointment
Officers currently serving in the service of Dental Surgical Assistant are eligible to be considered by KPSL to follow the Dental Technologist Training, when they have been confirmed in service and:
i) have the qualifications in para A (i); and
ii) is less than 51 years old on the date of application
CAUTION:
